We often see errors when loading the packages into various LMS systems. We recommend you ignore any non-critical errors or warnings and continue to load the content into your LMS. If the file successfully loads and only warnings are present you can continue with the verification steps.
- If you received a critical error and the file will not load, be sure you extracted the smaller zip files from the class package download. Each package for Tooling U-SME class will be named with a 6 digit number. The Virtual Lab packages will all start with VR. If you are selecting the file with the long name you downloaded from https://rxd.toolingu.com/Packager/TestFiles/ it will not work, and you need to extract the smaller file inside. Click here to review directions how to extract the files.
- If you receive a critical error and the files will not load, we recommend trying another version. For example, you tried SCORM 1.2, and it will not load into your LMS. Try downloading the SCORM 2004 or the AICC download and see if that download will successfully import.
- Tooling U - SME classes in many systems are considered a resource or a module. Be sure you are importing the zip file as the appropriate content type.
- The zip file should not be unzipped when loading into your system.
- You cannot click on the zip files or any files within it, to view the content. The zip files must be loaded into an LMS for the content to display.
- We cannot provide direct AICC URL’s. The AICC content package must be imported into your LMS.
